Genesis Athletix offers exceptional cheerleading and tumbling training to children of all ages and skill levels. Our classes are carefully designed to cater to toddlers, school-aged kids, and teens. Our team of highly qualified and experienced instructors creates a secure and nurturing environment for your child to enhance their tumbling skills and gain confidence on the mat. Whether your child is a beginner or an advanced tumbler, our comprehensive program ensures personalized attention to help them achieve their full potential.

Toddler Cheer & Tumble

Walking - 3 Years Old Or Potty Trained


This 30-minute weekly class is a fun and enriching experience for toddlers and their grown-ups. With music, movement games, and colorful equipment, we focus on physical development, verbal skills, and social interaction in a playful, guided environment. A caregiver is required to participate with the child in this class.

Preschool Class

3 - 4 Years Old


A 45-minute, independent class for potty-trained athletes. This is a structured class focused on motor skills, coordination, body awareness, and social development - all through age-appropriate tumbling and games. This is a great intro to group learning for our youngest athletes! Required for all athletes under age 5 unless evaluated otherwise.

Intro to Tumbling

5 Years Old and Up


For athletes age 5+ who are new to tumbling or still developing foundational skills. This class focuses on body control, coordination, and proper technique for cartwheels, handstands, and other essential basics. Core Skills Taught include lunge entry & controlled landings; forward & backwards roll; basic body shapes (hollow, candlestick, etc.); cartwheel; and bridge & fall from standing.


Our Ages 10+ Tumbling class is a beginner-friendly tumbling class designed older beginners who want to build foundational skills in a supportive, age-appropriate environment. Athletes will work on cartwheels, bridges/walkovers, handstands, and round-offs while building strength and confidence at a more mature pace. This is an Intro/Walkovers level class.

Walkovers & More

5 Years Old and Up


For athletes who have mastered a bridge and have strong foundational skills and body awareness. This class teaches front and back walkovers, round-offs, and early handspring prep. Athletes will also be introduced to connected tumbling passes and advanced/specialty skills (ex. Valdez, switch-leg walkovers, etc.).

Prerequisites: Cartwheel, fall to bridge from standing, handstand basics, body shapes (hollow, candlestick, etc.)

Handsprings

5 Years Old and Up


For athletes who have mastered front and back walkovers and demonstrate strong control in body shaping. Athletes should have a well-developed round-off rebound, including proper body shapes and consistent rebound angles. This class focuses on safe, controlled handspring technique with an emphasis on connection angles, combination passes, building the strength and control needed for advanced tumbling. Core skills include: standing back handspring (+ series), round-off back handspring (+ series), back walkover-back handspring-step-out series, front handspring/bounder, aerials.

Prerequisites: Front and back walkovers, controlled round-off rebound (angles), handstand block and snap-down rebound, strong body shape awareness and handstand control.

Recreational Cheer

4 - 9 Years Old


Our Recreational Cheer program for athletes ages 4-9 offers a great starting point for anyone interested in cheerleading, with very little commitment!

Each session includes exposure to stunting, tumbling, dance, and jump techniques, AND an opportunity to showcase your new skills to your friends and family at the end of each session!
